A Hero's Due - Blurb

Chad Donovan is an ex-marine discharged honorably after he gets badly injured in action. Three months at Walter Reed fixed his injuries but his mind remains in the dark dusty and oppressively hot foxholes of the Iraqi desert. His wealthy family transfers him to a private medical facility for a round the clock regime of care that promises to mend him completely. At Lakeside Clinic, Chad meets his own angels of mercy, and together they reignite his desire to live and walk again among the living.

A Hero's Due - Book cover

I would like to thank all those friends who participated in the poll to select the cover design for my next book "A Hero's Due".
I can report now that the respondents chose as follows:

Cover #1 = 71%
Cover #2 = 7.1%
Cover #3 = 21.4%

I also wish to appreciate the candor of respondents who made suggestions on how to make the winning cover even better. The result is this new version of that cover.
Thank you all and stay blessed.

Quench my Fire

Quench My Fire
Don Abdul © 2010

I hear your whispered words
I feel your lust travel to my loins
Plucking at my high strung chords
On and on like a jukebox fed more coins
Driving me insane with desire
Setting my whole body on fire
I long to tease you, and kiss you
Helping you soar to heights of pleasure so dizzying, so new
Until you're dripping juices all over
And with your nectar you quench my fire
